It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louise Boury (Abbotsford, British Columbia), born in Wilkie, Saskatchewan, who passed away on December 14, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Louise Boury to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Ray Boury; and her daughter Carol Jansen. She is survived by: her children, Linda Kirton (Daryl) and Doug Boury (Cindy); and her son-in-law Don Jansen. She is also survived by six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, three nieces, and friends and family, including relatives.

In lieu of flowers, we kindly ask for donations to be made to the Holmberg House Hospice.

“I'm so sorry to hear of Lou's passing. Lou & Ray were good friends of my parents, Doreen and Chuck Smyth. We lived as neighbours on the Douglas Lake cattle ranch at Davis Lake (off grid) along with Jim & Hilda Dalglish. (1947/1948). Hard winter, the men had a contract to log the area. The moms all worked hard keeping our little houses warm with wood heat. No electricity and we lived miles from no where. I last saw them all together at my wedding in 1965 in Abbotsford. Lou & Ray were great.”
