Norma June Bavalis Obituary
We announce the death of Norma June Bavalis in Abbotsford, British Columbia, born in Altona, Manitoba, who passed away on August 23, 2026, at the age of 73. Norma will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Diedrich Friesen and Elsie Friesen; and her siblings, Janie, Peggy, Donald and Arnold.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Elijah, Nathan, Emma, Ava, Seth, Mona, Violet, Hazel, Michel and Tyler.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Carriage Lane Hall (32691 Garibaldi Dr, Abbotsford, BC V2T5Y7).
In lieu of flowers and in the generous spirit of Norma, donations to the BC Cancer Society - Fraser Region or Abbotsford Hospice & Grief Support Society will be gratefully accepted.
