He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Nickel and Katherina Nickel (Goertz); his siblings, Henry, Abe, Dan, John, Jake, Alma Klassen, Hulda Nickel and Tina Wiens; and his siblings-in-law, John, Selma, Albert and Lise Siebert.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon (Ken), Jim (Lana), Dianne (Al), Darlene (Alan), Susan and Jerry; and his sisters-in-law, Frieda, Helen Nickel and Rosalie Siebert. He is also survived by many cousins, nephews and nieces.
