It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Rita Wiens in Abbotsford, British Columbia, who passed away at the age of 94, on January 4, 2023. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerhard Peters and Elizebeth Peters; her son John; and her husband Jacob. She is survived by: her children, Kaethe, Daniel and Elizebeth; her sister Mary; her aunt Susan; her children, Harry, Edward (Lee Ann) and Marlene Becker (Edward); Tina. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

She never complained about her lot in life, especially during Covid, when she spent months in isolation.
