He was predeceased by: his parents, Johann Hiebert and Aganeta Hiebert; and his siblings, John, George, Victor and Kay Rempel.

He is survived by: his siblings, Johann [John], Gerhard [George] and Katarina [Kay]; his friends, Larry and Leona Woelk; his son Daniel (Dorothea); his wife Johanna Friesen (Washington); his sister Violet Sawatzky; his children, Robert (Karen) and Susan Krause (Rick); Bob. He is also survived by six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
