He was predeceased by: his wife Pritam Kaur Sandhu "Nani"; and his son Harbhajan Singh Sandhu. He is survived by: his children, Dev Singh Sandhu, Prem Singh Sandhu, Parkash Kaur Kellay and Rani Kaur Chumber. He is also survived by his 17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
