We are sad to announce that on July 18, 2025, Victor Dyck (Abbotsford, British Columbia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Anna Hoeppner (Hoeppner) and Wilhelm Dyck (Anna); his siblings, Epp and Alfred Dyck; his cousins, Dietrich Hildebrandt, Helga Stobbe (Hildebrandt) and Gayla Kehler (Hildebrandt); his aunt Helena Hildebrandt (Hoeppner); his sisters, Lena and English; his father-in-law Jacob Dueckman; his close friends, Herman and Hilma Webber; his wife Elfriede; his sister Helen (Dyck); his daughters, Veronica Dyck and Irmgard Nickel [Ewald] (Ewald); his grandchildren, Nathan Nickel and Kirsten Nickel; and also Dora.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Eben-Ezer Mennonite Church (2051 Windsor St, Abbotsford, BC V2T6L9). March 2020 was the pandemic lockdown, which meant in person visits did not happen for over a year.
Memorial donations will be gratefully accepted to: In lieu of flowers a donation to MCC in memory of Victor Dyck would be most appreciated.
