It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Augustinus Christiaan Maria Karpes of Alert Bay, British Columbia, who passed away on September 6, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter and Anna Maria Karpes; his brothers, Bill and Theodore Karpes; and his siblings-in-law, Walter Kleinebeck, Raff Beaussart and Mary Karpes.
He is survived by : the mother of his children Elizabeth Karpes; his children, Lisa Anne Stone (Roger) of Sooke, BC. and Shawn David Karpes of Alert Bay, BC.; his granddaughter Montana Stone (Cody) of Calgary, Alberta.; his great grandchildren, Dominic and London Anne; his sister Francisca Klienebeck (Don) of Australia; his pet Peg; his friends, Don, Penny Sipple, Allan and Dianne Chisholm; and his children, Warren, Gus and Molly.
