With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Baines of Barriere, British Columbia, born in Red Deer, Alberta, who passed away on September 29, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William Baines and Annie Baines; his sisters, Muriel and Mavis; and his close friend Border Collie.

He is survived by : his wife Sheila Baines; his children, Bill Baines, Tannis Wills (Brian), Lisa O'Connor (Stuart) and Denise Balbirnie (Wade); and his grandchildren, Joseph, Amber Baines, Kim, Jared, Gavin, Nathan Wills, Kate O'Connor, Brandon, Ryan, Megan and Sarah Balbirnie.
