With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bark Nen Chong (Burnaby, British Columbia), who passed away on June 10, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Bark Nen leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his wife Tai Git; and his daughter Julia. He is survived by: his children, May (John), Sonya (Derek) and Byron (Wendy); and his grandchildren, Janine, Kady (Jordan), Jodi (Myles), Michelle (Sean), Brandon, Karyn and Tianna.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park (3789 Royal Oak Ave, Burnaby, BC V5G3M1).
