Chin is survived by: wife Leong Pitt Heong; daughter Chiang Shew Chin; son-in-law Daniel Lam; granddaughters, Michelle and Samantha; son Andy Chiang; and daughter-in-law Mayumi Shida.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM and from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home (3789 Royal Oak Ave, Burnaby, BC V5G3M1). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park (3789 Royal Oak Ave, Burnaby, BC V5G3M1).
