Emma Merenda Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on February 12, 2026, at the age of 90, Emma Merenda (Burnaby, British Columbia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Palmo; her parents, Carmine and Rosina; and her brothers, Pasquale, Umberto and Francesco.
She is survived by: her daughters, Saverina (Raimond), Rosellina (Michael) and Anna; her grandchildren, Margaret (Rob), Joey (Sandra), Michael (Ciara), Christopher, Emma (Sebastian), Melissa (Nick) and Ryan (Karmeena); her great grandchildren, Alexander, Anthony, Adriano, Joey, Dȧithi, Eȧbha and Sophia; and her sister Maria (Vincenzo). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to BC Children's Hospital.
