We announce the death of Evelyn Florence Farina (Burnaby, British Columbia), who passed away on August 16, 2026, at the age of 87. Evelyn will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Benson and Elsie Benson; and her husband Terry Farina. She is survived by: her children, Rick (Rick), Teresa and John (Rosemary); her grandchildren, Mitchell, Janelle (José), Dylan (Meaghan), Jordan and Brandon (Amie); and her great grandchild Florencia.

Evelyn's vibrant spirit and active lifestyle were gradually stolen by Alzheimer's disease, but it never diminished the love her family and friends held for her or the lasting impact she made on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
