As Heru departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Heru may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Heru leaves behind.
He is survived by: his wife Grace; his daughters, Caroline and Stephanie; his sons-in-law, Ango and Asitha; and his grandchildren, Akira, Eiji, Ezra and Keita.
In lieu of flowers and to honour Heru's lifelong generosity toward people in need, the family welcomes donations to be given to charities that reflect his compassion and values.
