She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolf Rosenke and Olga Rosenke; her husband Gerd; her siblings, Erhard, Johann, Friedrich, Rudolf and Frieda; and her son-in-law Bob.

She is survived by: her children, Trudy, Chelsea, Anita (Derek) and Martin; her grandchildren, Joshua, Ingrid and Eoin; and her siblings, Gustav, Olga, Horst, Helga and Sigrid.
