With sadness, we share the passing of Jessie Childe (Burnaby, British Columbia). Jessie, born on October 4, 1934, passed away on October 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Jessie for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Childe and Marie Lee Childe; and her husband Dr S. W. Lam. She is survived by: her siblings, Elsie, Joan, Percy and Nelly. She is also survived by her loving nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home (3789 Royal Oak Ave, Burnaby, BC V5G3M1). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park (3789 Royal Oak Ave, Burnaby, BC V5G3M1). A reception will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 1:30 PM at 6401 Kingsway, Burnaby, BC V5E1E1.
