With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Edgar Fraser (Burnaby, British Columbia), born in Edmonton, Alberta, who passed away on December 5, 2019 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh and Lillian; and his sister Iona. He is survived by: his children, Mike (Vicky), Karen (Randy), Steven (Jennifer) and Wendy; the parent of his children Marion; his brother Neil (Leona); and his siblings-in-law, Barb, Wilf and Bob. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren & their spouses and his 6 great-grandchildren.

“To John's family, very sorry to hear of John's passing. I had the pleasure of working and getting to know John in the garage at motorways for 8 years. John was always friendly and very helpful, and loved to crack jokes. In common, we both loved the outdoors, and he shared some life experiences and stories of the RCAF, particularly when flying the CF100's out of Cold Lake, Alberta. He was in his element then, and I am sure he is now soaring with the eagles. Doug Lentz”
