The memory of Lena Chen (Burnaby, British Columbia), who passed away on May 11, 2026 at the age of 87, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Lena may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lena touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her extended family Montreal; and her husband Warren. She is survived by: her children, Phillip, Anna and Karen; and her grandchildren, Justin, Olivia and Joshua.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the UBC Alzheimer's group and the staff at 3 Links Care Home for their compassionate dedication to our mother's care.
