Maria Motta Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Motta (Burnaby, British Columbia), who passed away on November 8, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Silvano. She is survived by: her daughters, Luciana (Mike), Carla (Wayne), Antonia (Michael) and Cathy (Darryl); her granddaughter Tina (Darren); her children, Tom (Jessica), Stacey (Shale), Derek (Chantay), Jorge, Douglas, Cristina (Joe) and Silvia; her great grandchildren, Jordyn, Lily, Remi, Sloan and Raegan; and her sister Elisa (Giorgio).

In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a Maria Motta Legacy fund that will support local seniors programs.
