“Just read about the recent passing of one of the sweetest men I ever knew. I worked with Mike for several years at Safeway and he was always so kind and thoughtful. He was one of my favourite managers who I was happy to do anything for. Always so soft spoken and genuinely interested in the lives of the people around him. My father, Al Gostling spoke kindly of him as well. They kept I touch after retirement and enjoyed reminiscing and catching up on Safeway gossip. So sad to see us lose another real gentleman. My sincere condolences to the family, you must be heartbroken. I know you will miss him every day. My toughts are with you, much love, BJ Tindle (Gostling)”
