With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Reinhard Reck (Burnaby, British Columbia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 2, 2026 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Reinhard is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Reinhard's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his wife Iraida. He is survived by: his sons, Victor (Sylvia) and Harri (Gillian); and his grandson Damon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Ocean View Funeral Home (4000 Imperial St, Burnaby, BC V5J1A4). A committal service will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Ocean View Funeral Home & Burial Park (4000 Imperial St, Burnaby, BC V5J1A4). A reception will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Ocean View Funeral Home (4000 Imperial St, Burnaby, BC V5J1A4).
