It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Savino Filancia in Burnaby, British Columbia, who passed away on September 30, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Annunziata Palpizi (Aniello Filancia) and Savino. He is survived by: his children, Annunziata, Silvia and Nello; his grandchildren, Sofia, Niko, Enrico, Rafael, Aslaam and Nicole; his sister Pasqualina; his brother-in-law Fernando; and his sibling's children, Emmanuel, Nancy and Gina.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis de Sales Parish (6610 Balmoral St, Burnaby, BC V5E1J1).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the BC Heart and Stroke Foundation in memory of Savino.
