Sonja Schild Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sonja Schild of Burnaby, British Columbia, who passed away on June 15, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Matilde Mayerhofer and Ernest Mayerhofer. She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Monica Schild (Robert Metz), Cate (Victoria) and Christina Patricia Schild; her grandchildren, Mary Elisabeth Metz, Katherine Emily Metz, Maximillian Nelson Korinth and Liza Korinth (Sophie); her cousin Elisabeth Michaela Scheifinger; and her husband Max.

In lieu of flowers, Sonja had requested memorial trees be planted.
