Toshiko Tsukishima Obituary
We bid farewell to Toshiko Tsukishima in Burnaby, British Columbia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 18, 2024 at the age of 97. Toshiko touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sueo Kado and Masuko Kado; her husband Sumio Tsukishima; and her siblings, Irene Tsukijima (Eiji), Fumiko Jasiukiewicz (Wesley), Michiko Kado, Kimiye Nonomura (Kiyo), Keichi and Kou Kado.
She is survived by: her son Keith (Becky); her grandson Makoto; her children, Lloyd, Ruth (Nick) and Joy; and her sister Kaz Kanashiro (Tosh). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She is now at peace but is being missedThe family respectfully requests no koden and no flowers please. If so inclined, Toshiko's charities were Heart and Stroke Foundation and Vancouver Buddhist Temple.
