It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wai Har Chan (Burnaby, British Columbia), who passed away on February 23, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Jou Sun Chan; and her son Jason Chan. She is survived by: her children, Lillian Fitterer (John), Lisa Midgley (John), Sharon Taylor (Jim) and Neil Chan (Heather); her daughter-in-law Shawna Chan; her grandchildren, Kelly, Johnny, Terra, Garrett, Haley, Linea, Cassidy, Brendan, Serena, Siena, Hope, Shannon, Jasmine, Stephanie, Nicole and Jeremy; and her great grandchildren, Haven and Jewel. She is also survived by siblings and their families, extended family.
