Wai Yin Shum Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 21, 2025, at the age of 89, Wai Yin Shum (Burnaby, British Columbia) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Wai Yin Shum to pay them a last tribute.
She is survived by: her children, Choi Ching (Arthur), Kin (Winnie) and Jackie (Rob); and her grandchildren, Stephanie, Jeff, Wesley, Karina, Jamie, Jodie, Jason, Jennifer and Aaron.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Glenhaven Memorial Chapel (1835 E Hastings St, Vancouver, BC V5L1T3). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park (3789 Royal Oak Ave, Burnaby, BC V5G3M1).
