It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayverne William Gilbert in Burnaby, British Columbia, who passed away on May 9, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Stan and Alys; his wife Patricia; his children, Trevor, Elizabeth (Vic), Tom (Barb) and Jim (Alison); his grandchildren, Destiny (Jeff), Darian (Linden), Micaela, Jenna and Braydon; his sister Waveney (Jim); his nephew Kevin (Rachael); and his niece Karen (Brad).

In lieu of flowers or gifts a donation to the BC Cancer Foundation in Bill's honour would be greatly appreciated.
