With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Xing Li Yang (Burnaby, British Columbia), who passed away on November 7, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Honglan Hu; his children, Shu Hu (Yu Chen), Jing Hu (Michael Pogue), Xiaoqin Yang (Xiaoyan Zhou), Tao Yang (Ling Zhang) and Yiran Yang (Liang Yu); his grandchildren, Michelle Hu, Joey Carr, Peiyang Shi, Paul Marshall Goetze, Mia Jean Goetze, Ivee Zhou, Sai Yandapalli, Carnell Zhou, Aylin Yang, Bryan Yang, Esther Liang and Vicky Liang; his great grandchild Ellie Carr; and his siblings, Haoli Yang, Mingli Yang and Hongmei Hu. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
