With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carol Hargreaves in Campbell River, British Columbia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 1, 2025 at the age of 86. As Carol departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Carol. Though Carol may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gertrude (Thomas Hargreaves) and Washington. She is survived by: her brother Terry Hargreaves; her children, Cathy Thibault (Brent), Dan Jakel (Nathalie), Jana Laroche (David) and David Gurklies; and her grandchildren, Christine, Danika, Karl, Marc, Alexandre and Mathieu.
