He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Scott and Fred Scott; his brothers, Gordon Scott and John Scott; his brother-in-law Roger Scully; and his daughter Fae Scott.

He is survived by: his wife Karin Voll; his daughters, Susan Follis (Jeff), April Scholten (Dirk) and Andrea Scott (Andre); his grandchildren, Adam, Sydney and Kennedy; his sister Dorothy Scully; and his sister-in-law Helen Scott. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
