With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laverne Eileen (Ogilvie) Thiessen (Campbell River, British Columbia), born in Wetaskiwin, Alberta, who passed away on July 1, 2018 at the age of 72. She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Lee Thiessen; her parents, Alec Ogilvie and Marion Ogilvie; and her brother Martin Ogilvie. She is survived by: her grandchildren, James Lilburn (Sara-Rose), Donald Crneck (Cassidy), Joel Crneck, Holly Pinto (Darren), Heather Thompson, Candice Zapp (Mike Martin) and Steven Zapp (Jessica Ricketts); and her great grandchildren, Emmrick, Easton, Haddie, Makarios, Aubree and Nathaniel. She is also survived by 8 children and will be greatly missed by her surviving siblings.
