He was predeceased by: his close friends, Jane Walkus and Shauna Wolf; and his grandparents, Oscar Schmitke, Ruth Elliott and Vaughn Anderson.

He is survived by: his parents, Barry Schmitke (Linda) and Brenda Anderson; his daughters, Nicole, Ocean, Blue and Nova; and his siblings, Ryan (Kassidy) and Natesa MacRae. He is also survived by numerous nieces, aunts, uncles, as well as many extended families.
