It is with sadness that the passing of Shawn Christopher Balla of Campbell River, British Columbia is shared. Shawn, born on November 25, 1983 in Brampton, Ontario, passed away on September 30, 2026. Shawn will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honour Shawn by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Shawn is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Shawn’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Mick (Nicolas) Balla (Margaret) and Darlene Green; children: Jenaca Amber Harvey-Balla and Dalan Despres; siblings: Mickey Balla, Chantel Balla (David Wallace) and Ashley Minns (Tammy Minns); nephew: Brody Balla; and many aunts, uncles, family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 27th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Alano Club (301 10 Ave, Campbell River, BC V9W4E4).
