We announce the death of Nicole Diane Morris in Chemainus, British Columbia, who passed away on September 27, 2026, at the age of 61. Nicole will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Nicole will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Nicole will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Nicole’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Carole Morris and W. Barry Morris; her daughter Laura Morris (Josh Croasdale); and her sisters, Tammy Morris and Michelle Morris (Sean Barton). She was also cherished by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nicole's memory to the Cowichan Neighbourhood House Association (Chemainus) or the Cowichan Valley Basket Society (Duncan).
