She was predeceased by: her siblings, Gerry Sterkenburg, Adrian Sterkenburg (Dirk Sterkenburg) and Nellie Romijn; her siblings-in-law, Anton Van Mersbergen, John, Leonard, Pete Visscher and Riet Sterkenburg; and her father Dirk Sterkenburg.

She is survived by: her children, Bill (Jeanette), Joanne, Elsa and Anita (Steve); her siblings, Theo Sterkenburg and Corrie Van Mersbergen; and her sisters-in-law, Connie MacDonald, Mary Sterkenburg, Hillie, Elizabeth, Nell Visscher and Elsa Torfs (Frank). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
