Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Bertha Van Oort (Chilliwack, British Columbia), who passed away at the age of 85, on July 21, 2021. She is survived by: her husband Christiaan Van Oort (Chris); her children, Tony (Lineke Van Oort), Ed (Joanne Van Oort), Leonard (Theresa Van Oort), Robert (Catharine Van Oort) and Monica (Jaco Boot); and her siblings, Marianne (Emil Zagar), Evelyn (Harry Barten), Reina Van Lagen (Erica Guliker) and Willie Guliker (Kerkhoff). She is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mount Cheam Christian School, in Chilliwack.
