With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carol Ann Mackay in Chilliwack, British Columbia, born in Vancouver, British Columbia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 5, 2026 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Bowett and Thelma Bowett; and her brother Allan. She is survived by: her husband Bunk Mackay; her sister Sandy Bowett; and her children, Doug (Lynne), Bruce (Bonnie), Laurie (John), Lucas Mackay (Melissa), Ethan Mackay, Anthony "Jim" Mackay (Brooke), Lorry "Sal" Mackay (Rachel), Lisa Astra (Tyler) and Andrew Hughes (Brooke). She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Agassiz Agricultural Hall (6800 Pioneer Ave, Agassiz, BC V0M1A3).
