He was predeceased by: his parents, Johann Braun and Katarine Braun; and his siblings, Peter, Isaac, Hans, Agnes, Jacob, Arthur, Gerhard, Gredel, Kathe, Franz, Lene, Heinrich and Paul.
He is survived by: his children, Monica (Haidi) and Walter; his wife Irma; his child Haidi (Paul); his grandchildren, Audrey (Mark), Isaac (Kara), Ian (Marcy), Arden (Antonia), Jake, Aidan and Rhian; and his great grandchildren, Kaeti, Pippin, Myles, Riley, Ariella and Aniya.
