It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald James Mitchell (Chilliwack, British Columbia), born in Strongfield, Saskatchewan, who passed away on June 8, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Mitchell and Sophia Mitchell (Dolly); his wife Frances; and his siblings, Robert, Barry and Iris.

He is survived by: his son Lon (Dianne); and his grandchildren, Adam, Kelsey and Jamie (Rachel). He is also survived by his extended family and lifelong friends.

Due to the current pandemic situation, a private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
