It is with sadness that the passing of Emmarie Maelle Quik (Chilliwack, British Columbia) is shared. Emmarie, born on January 12, 2021, passed away on July 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her great-grandparents, Andries Quik, Leendert of Jong, Jan, Suzanna VanderMeer-Boers, John and Judith Overeem-Slingerland.

She is survived by: her parents, Corné Quik-VanderMeer and Michelle Quik-VanderMeer; her siblings, Lincoln, Landen, Addyson and Irelynn; her grandparents, Harry, Lydie Quik, John and Marilyn VanderMeer; and her great-grandparents, Eldertina Quik and Berendina of Jong. She is also survived by several aunts and uncles, and 23 cousins.

In lieu of flowers and gifts, we deeply appreciate a donation in Emmarie's memory to either: Bethlehem Foundation Canada, BC Children's Hospital, or Mount Cheam Christian School.
