Erin Joy Hancock Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Erin Joy Hancock in Chilliwack, British Columbia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 9, 2025 at the age of 53. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Erin shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Erin farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vic and Iva; and her brother Doug Adair. She is survived by: her sisters, Dawn McKay (Mike), Lynne Pearson (Matt) and Kim Hancock of Chilliwack.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home and Crematorium (45865 Hocking Ave, Chilliwack, BC V2P1B5). A reception will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Erin's sisters ask for donations to Inclusion Chilliwack Society or a charity of your choice supporting disabled adults.
