He was predeceased by: his parents, Susie Thiessen and Jacob Thiessen. He is survived by: his wife Carmen; his stepchildren, Flor, Gerald, Jojo, Bing, Henry and Eric; his stepgrandchildren, John, Zach and Matti; his siblings, Dave of Edmonton, Herb of Cranbrook, Erna of Kamloops, Deedee of Victoria and Marge of Eholt; his adoptive daughters, Jeanette and Bonnie; and his niece Debbie (Derrel). He is also survived by father and grandfather to his family.
