She was predeceased by: her husband Peter; and her son Edward. She is survived by: her children, Ernie, Carl and Eleanor; her siblings, Abe (Cornelia), Henry (Mary), Nick, Gertrude (Abe Warkentin), Kay (Clyde Heller), Anna (Henry Nichol) and Jack (Erma); her daughter-in-law Anneke VanLeeuwen (Lawrence Dirks); her grandchildren, Erin Goosen (Jonathan Gee), Dean (Jaylene), Brad, Brent (Gina), Craig (Julie), Scott (Brittany), Bryan (Danielle), Eric (Michelle), Matthew Girard (Jenn), Lexa Girard (Hazel), Nick Girard (T'ea) and Chris Girard (Alyssa); her stepgrandchildren, Amber Dirks and Shayna Dirks (Gefei Jia); and her sisters-in-law, Mary Siebert and Carol Gossen.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Chilliwack Alliance Church (8700 Young Rd, Chilliwack, BC V2P4V6).
