He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Short and Melvin Short; his sisters, Marie and Mona; his brothers-in-law, Tom, Vern, Verne and Terry; and his sons-in-law, John and Gaston.
He is survived by: his wife Audrey Nuyts; his children, Angela, Alan (Rose) and Kim; and his sister Donna Logan. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Mary's Church (8909 Mary St, Chilliwack, BC V2P4J4).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Jack's memory.
