It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Rae Rovan Slot (Chilliwack, British Columbia), born in Vancouver, British Columbia, who passed away on July 11, 2024, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn close sister Rina, sister Maya, his son Sabastion Norman, and extended family and friends. Predeceased by parents Harry and Mae Slot. Gone to join his partner Charlotte Roy (d. Aug 2023). Larry had a tough life full of problems and misadventures yet he found the strength each time to carry on and kept positive throughout. The last months of his life he fought bravely to save his remaining leg, through diabetes and other health issues. Mechanically minded he was the first to lend a hand, to help those in need, and always with a fun sense of humor.
Though Larry has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
