He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel of Sousa Travassos and Rosa. He is survived by: his wife Nicole Travassos (Gosselin); his daughters, Susan Travassos (Marvin), Rosemarie Day (Kevin) and Claudette Krahn (Kerry); his grandchildren, Savannah (Stephen), Kendall (Dayton), Jessica (Dylan), Nicholas, Emmanuella and Georgia; and his sisters, Maria Laudalina Custodio and Maria Lurdes Oliveira (Joe). He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Manuel's name to Ruth & Naomi's Mission in Chilliwack.
