He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his children, Michael "Charlie" (Philippe), Jason, Dustin (Rebecca), Darren (Ashley) and Tricia (Chris); his grandchildren, Trenton of Calgary, Alberta., Joshua of Calgary, Alberta., Devon of Calgary, Alberta., Lilly of Calgary, Alberta. and Holden of Calgary, Alberta.; his siblings, Josie and Jim (Irene); and his pets, Tinkerbell and Butts. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
After a brief illness, Mike's courageous journey with Alzheimer's disease came to a peaceful end on August 2, 2026, at the age of 80, surrounded by his loving family.
