He is survived by: his wife Diane Neels; his children, Tara (John Klaassen), Dan (Melissa Neels), Nick (Rosanna Neels), Trevor Neels, Dennis (Cambria Neels), Andrew (Jessie Neels) and Jill (Wes Ter Haar); his mother Anna Neels; his siblings, Ina (Tony Kardux), Mattie (John Les), John (Dina Neels), Marian Neels, Jan (Gayle Neels), Bill (Patricia Neels), Willy (Leen Weeda), Lena Sterkenburg, Marianne (Bob Maljaars) and Jack (Joanne Neels); his parents-in-law, Jack and Karen Lindhout; his siblings-in-law, Dorothy, Wim Den Boer, Jeff, Mary Lindhout, Randy, Pauline Lindhout, Robert Lindhout, Yvonne Kanis and Rick Sterkenburg; his mother-in-law Corry Lindhout; and his brother-in-law Ken Lindhout. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the North America (9696 Gibson Rd, Chilliwack, BC V4Z0B2). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Chilliwack Cemetery (10010 Hillcrest Dr, Chilliwack, BC V2P7P8).
