He was predeceased by: his son Maurice; and his son-in-law Bruce Newby. He is survived by: his wife Rose; his children, Murray, Lindsay (Stephanie) and Deborah Newby; his grandchildren, Shauna Erler (Jay), Corey Ryckman (Tiana), Graeme (Katie) and Catherine Newby (Chris); and his great grandchildren, Kobi, Boston, Kendra, Jordan Erler, Bennett and London Ryckman.
