He is survived by : his wife Cathy Dunbar; his parents, Bill Laycock and Carol Laycock; his siblings, Dan Laycock (Beth), Deborah Forsyth (Nathan), Peter Laycock (LoraLee), Michael Laycock (Jennifer), Christine Laycock and John Laycock; and his grandmother Raye Scalone. He is also survived by fifteen nieces and nephews.

Because of Covid, a private family memorial service has taken place in Chilliwack, BC.
